BOBBY WHITE, an American Vietnam War Veteran, dedicated his career to serving the United States and his community. He served as a Sergeant/E-5 in the Army during the Vietnam War and later held leadership roles in veterans’ organizations. From 1981 to 2010, Bobby managed the Ft. Lauderdale Vet Center Mental Health Program and served as Director and Commissioner of the Florida Commission for Veterans Affairs. He is actively involved in veterans’ services and community outreach. Bobby White was the Commander of the VFW Post 8195 for 6 years. He also started the VFW Stone of Hope Wellness Center.
Bobby’s dedication to veterans led him to co-author a book and produce a documentary highlighting their experiences. Bobby White’s numerous memberships and awards reflect his commitment to veterans and his community.

The nature of war is such that there are often no acceptable or "good" options: all options are bad (for example, kill or be killed). For some Veterans, those feelings can be very damaging and can get in the way of recovery. It's important to reduce the intensity of guilt by challenging the thoughts.
